On Saturday, February 27, one of the largest earthquakes in recent history hit the country of Chile. The quake measured 8.8 on the Richter scale and set off a tsunami that devastated coastal communities south of the capital, Santiago. Foundation 4Life quickly rallied resources to provide emergency relief to the suffering people of Chile. A $5,000 donation was made to the SOS Children's Villages location in Concepción, Chile to repair damage to structures. Foundation 4Life donated $10,000 to the Chilean Red Cross organization to provide immediate aid to the hardest hit communities in the country. 4Life Senior Vice President of Marketing Trent Tenney appeared live on Azteca America Broadcast Television in Chile to report on Foundation 4Life's donation. "I felt great comfort from the support that Foundation 4Life provided," commented Presidential Diamond Luis Antonio Araya Valenzuela. "The great 4Life® family was here to support us, not just us personally as distributors, but the entire Chilean community that was affected by the earthquake."
