Building a Difference
New Zealand
4Life executives and distributors participated in Relay For Life, a fundraising event for cancer research sponsored by the Cancer Society of New Zealand. The event takes place in cities all over New Zealand, with the 4Life group participating in Hawkes Bay. The event featured over 100 teams competing in a relay-style walk with team members taking turns keeping their baton moving overnight. 4Life Distributors donated their money, time, and 4Life Products to the event. Distributors also participated in the relay itself and lent assistance at both the registration desk and survivors’ tent, which honored cancer survivors and their supporters. Participants and supporters enjoyed the lively event atmosphere, which featured entertainment, camping, and prizes. The two-day event raised $200,000 NZD for cancer research.
Ratu Sauvoli Memorial School is a public school in Nabudrau, Noco, Rewa, Fiji. With nine teachers and over 250 children attending from 13 local villages, the school is desperately in need of extra funding and supplies such as books, desks, and chairs. 4Life Australia/New Zealand executives and distributors raised close to $4000 and assembled education kits for the school. They also donated 300 school packs (with pencils, pens, erasers, pencil sharpeners, exercise books, and rulers included) and nearly 300 4Life Transfer Factor® Chewable bottles. “It’s great to be part of a company that is committed to making a difference in the world!” commented Australia/New Zealand Managing Director Ben Riley.
