(May 2012) During the 4Life Indonesia grand opening event, 4Life President Steve Tew made a $10,000 USD donation to the “Adopt a Village” program of the IBU Foundation in front of 1,000 attendees on behalf of Foundation 4Life and 4Life distributors. IBU Foundation is a non-profit organization formed during the 2004 tsunami disasters in Aceh Province, Indonesia. The “Adopt a Village” program works to improve quality of education and health for children and mothers who live in remote villages in Indonesia.
Several 4Life leaders were in attendance for the donation, including Platinum International Diamonds Sadik Din and Hasnimah and Gold International Diamonds Sheri Din, Richard and Nancy Quek, Dr. Jase Khyeam, Rasid Kamisan and Hasrunita, Salim Raghavan and Noor Azlina, Dr. Eduard Hutabarat and Katharina Sihombing, and Ramos Sahala Sihombing.
“It is a privilege to travel around the world and see the good that Foundation 4Life and 4Life distributors are doing to help people who are less fortunate,” commented Steve. “We look forward to a great future of service in Indonesia.”
“We are very grateful to Foundation 4Life for this donation for the ‘Adopt a Village’ program,” remarked IBU Foundation Founder Dr. Ridwan “Jack” Gustiana. “I hope we can continue this partnership to improve the quality of life for children and mothers.”
