July 2010 - The Shop with a Cop Utah program was founded in 1990. Its main objective is to give a positive law enforcement experience to children ages 4–8 who come from troubled families. Each cop shops with an individual child to help prepare for the new school year and talk about drug and gang awareness. Foundation 4Life got involved with the 20th annual event in July 2010. Each donation provides a pair of shoes, five outfits, and a backpack with necessary school supplies. Foundation 4Life made donations to support six children. Shop with a Cop Utah helps well over a 100 kids every year.
