4Life Australia and New Zealand began a partnership with Hands Across the Water, an organization that helps support children orphaned by the December 26, 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Hands Across The Water helped provide a real home for these kids at the Bann Tharn Namchai orphanage in Khao Lak, Thailand. In December 2010, 4Life made a $4,500 AUD donation to the organization. The following May, 4Life Australia and New Zealand General Manager Evelyn Thom and 4Life Thailand Sales Manager T. Kitpubate visited the orphanage to deliver enummi® Toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrushes, soap, diapers, and many more personal hygiene items to nearly 70 children. The gifts were a huge hit! The highlight of the visit was serving lunch to the kids and being entertained by their wonderful singing and dancing performance. All of the kids participated, from toddlers to teenagers. The 4Life guests were also given a guided tour of the orphanage and they marveled at the fresh produce grown there to sell at the local market. “Their self-sufficiency and happiness in the face of adversity made us feel quite humble,” commented Evelyn. “Hands Across the Water passes on every cent of the money raised to the children. 4Life is proud to be able to help these children whose lives have been shattered.”
