(December 2014) 4Life Brazil teamed up with Foundation 4Life to support the non-profit organization, Grupo Socorrista Irmão Alberto (GSIA), in providing an unforgettable holiday activity for children in need. The mission of GSIA is to provide assistance to low-income families, with a special focus on children, the elderly, and people in poor health. 4Life Brazil General Manager Mirassul Pereira organized the project with the help of employees and local distributors, who then attended a special event for the children. More than 200 toys were donated from Foundation 4Life and handpicked by 4Life distributors and employees. Attendees enjoyed a morning of recreational activities with the children, and then each child picked out a toy for Christmas. The children were overjoyed, because most of them didn’t expect to receive any gifts. 4Life Brazil will continue to support GSIA in its service efforts. “Foundation 4Life has a special concern for children in need,” commented Mirassul. “I believe we can all make a difference, here in Brazil and throughout the world. Donating money helps a lot, but giving of ourselves goes far beyond that. Look into the eyes of children. Listen to them. Show them that you care about them, that they are important, and that they can have a bright future.”
