Knowledge Is Power

Even though the United States is considered one of the wealthiest countries in the world, many hard-working families can barely afford the essentials for their children’s survival, making it next to impossible to budget for backpacks, school supplies, clothing, and more at the start of each new school year. The Foundation 4Life® U.S. education program gives kids the tools they need to start the school year off right and stay on a path to success. Salt Lake City, Utah— Foundation 4Life made a $50,000 donation to the Guadalupe School, an educational center for economically disadvantaged children and non-English speaking adults. The donation goes toward construction of a new school for the 2014–2015 school year. Foundation 4Life was given naming rights on a preschool classroom, and each student received a personalized binder to help them stay organized for academic success. Miami, Florida — Foundation 4Life donated 200 backpacks filled with numerous school supplies and hygiene items to the Fienberg-Fisher K–8 Center in the Miami-Dade School District. Barberton, Ohio— Foundation 4Life's partnership with Barberton Elementary West was launched with a donation of 200 backpacks filled with all of the supplies that kids need to start the school year off right, along with hygiene items. Downey, California— Foundation 4Life donated 200 back-to-school kits that included a hardbound book, shoes, underwear, socks, shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and more to the TLC Family Resource Center, which supports low-income students in the Downey Unified School District.
