In some Utah areas, an estimated 3 in 5 students heading back to school need a backpack! I was so excited to share 4Life’s service efforts on KUTV 2 News on August 13. This segment focused on the Granite Education Foundation’s Back 2 School Backpack drive and Foundation 4Life’s longstanding support of students throughout the district. I was joined by the principal of Granger Elementary, Amber Clayton on air to talk about the needs of underserved children in the local community. This is our community, our children, our neighbors and friends, what an honor it is to partner with local organizations to help break the cycle of poverty right here where we live.
